Michelle Wooddell – Founder & Principal

With more than 20 years of marketing, management, and fundraising experience in Detroit’s nonprofit sector, she founded Cobblestone Solutions, LLC in 2013.

She is a Certified Fundraising Executive and received a Ph.D. in Nonprofit Management. She serves on the faculty at Grand Valley State University where her research includes the intersection of the public, private and nonprofit sectors and fundraising efficacy. In her spare time, she manages to get in a midday game of doubles tennis, loves dogs, and going to Disney World.

Heather Carmona – Managing Director

Heather brings more than 25 years’ experience working  throughout the philanthropic and nonprofit sector with broad understanding of various sectors including economic and community development, education, government, and health and human services.

She’s worked for a social-impact technology company, and held executive positions with two area nonprofits as Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Director. 

Heather supports the branch team and is keen on adapting and responding to client needs. In her spare time she volunteers and serves in various capacities throughout the Detroit community, loves to read nonfiction, and enjoys open water swimming.

Chinyere Crutcher – Headquarters Office Administrator & Special Projects Manager

Chinyere brings 20+ years of experience in administration, communications, customer service, and marketing in various sectors including automotive, engineering, recruitment, and education. She has also worked and volunteered in various capacities, with several nonprofit organizations for more than 14 years.

She is also a business owner in direct sales and enjoys spending time with her family of four and her cat.

Cara Freitag – Program Manager, Nonprofit Services

Cara brings strong marketing and event management experience to the Nonprofit Spot team.

Working with a number of Detroit’s non-profits, she has managed fundraisers, galas, and events of all sizes.

Cara’s keen attention to detail and ability to multitask makes for a great program manager! Cara loves to travel and is always on the move with her two sports enthusiast children!
